Taiwan delegation visits Expo Bureau

A delegation led by Wu Guozhen, vice chairman of the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League, has been briefed on preparations for the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

The Taiwan group toured an exhibition at the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and took in the blueprint of the world’s fair. They also got a bird's eye view of the site and construction underway.

Xu Weiguo, vice secretary of the Party Commission of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, joined the Taiwan guests. Wu is a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
